Becoming a Bespoke Wedding Planner, months 1 to 5… during a Pandemic!!

Well little did I know starting a new role during global pandemic, I would be so busy…

I have been planning weddings for many years across many different cultures for various different venues, specialising in Asian weddings for a while… Weddings with 15 people to the largest 850 guests… Weddings that run from midday until 6pm or 7.30am until 1am the next day!

During my short time with Bespoke so far, I have met some amazing couples, some with very different ideas about what they want for their wedding and some heart rendering stories that have made me cry! But one thing that is apparent with all couples and what I stress on a daily basis, is that this is your day, you and your lifelong partner, your wedding day has to be a reflection of you as a couple and what you want. There is no right or wrong when planning your wedding, there are traditions and if that is what you want that is absolutely fine, however if you want to plan outside the box that is fine too…

WVSA Wedding Venues: Netley Hall and The Valley Hotel, Ironbridge.

I work with some amazing WVSA venues and suppliers and what I find so lovely is that all of the couples are treated so individually and that their wedding is the only one that matters. Whether that is in the Grand Hall at Netley Hall, with brides wondering what shoes to wear whilst walking down the most extravagant staircase. At The Valley Hotel with the most spectacular back drop over the River Severn for an outside ceremony. The infectious team at The Albright Hussey Manor Hotel and the delightful black swans that will greet you at the moat! Or the exclusive Blakelands Country House with the most beautiful barn and grounds for your whole day to play out in…

It is so nice to be able to help all of the couples plan their whole day and all of the details of their wedding, to all of the quirky things that will make their day unique and true to them, whether that will be different flowers and centre pieces and venue dressing, to different entertainment for their reception or just having the speeches before the wedding breakfast, so the groom can enjoy his meal!!

Whatever your plans are, enjoy the wedding planning and have the most incredible big day!
