CONGRATULATIONS
Emily & James have been selected as the Quorn Grange Hotel Bespoke Competition Winners! They have won the Wedding of their dreams, the prize includes Venue Hire, and a Food & Drinks Package!
After being selected to win the Venue Hire at Quorn Grange Hotel as part of Round One of the Bespoke Competition Emily & James were required to write about how they met or their proposal for the chance to win further prizes!
Story
Here is their story which the judges thought was so deserving and chose them as Round Two winners, their prize includes a Food & Drink package!
EMILY & JAMES
For me and James it started out as a case of right person, wrong time. Our paths first crossed at college but it wasn’t until 5 years later that we really got to know each other…
Through our mutual love of food, animals, Disney and Christmas, as well as James’s boyish charm we soon realised we were the perfect match.
As we are both lovers of Disney, I always jokingly said that if James proposed anywhere else other than Disneyland it wouldn’t be good enough. A well known phrase of Disney is ‘a dream is a wish your heart makes’. Well on that day in front of the castle, when James went down on one knee and asked me to marry him, he definitely made my dreams come true.
Upon finding out Emily & James had won Round Two they said…
When we found out that we’d won round 2 we did a mad dance around the living room and immediately cracked out the celebratory drinks. To win round 2 on top of already winning round 1 was just unbelievable, we couldn’t believe our luck. 2020 had started off as a pretty rough year but now things are finally starting to look up and we can’t wait to end the year with a bang at our December wedding!!
